About the Center

The Center has a
two-fold mission:
To help support and build the scholarly field of firearms law
To serve as a balanced and reliable resource on firearms law for scholars, judges, lawyers, policymakers, journalists, and interested citizens.
Launched in 2019, the Center carries out its mission through the dissemination and support of reliable, balanced, and insightful scholarship and programming on firearms law.
Our goal is that this scholarship and programming will be useful to a broad array of academic and popular audiences. Throughout the year, the Center organizes and hosts conferences and workshops, shapes and encourages scholars and scholarship, and develops teaching materials.
