In November 2024, Center affiliated faculty member Jeff Swanson hosted a post-election panel discussion exploring new areas for problem solving in firearms and gun violence with perspectives from public health, crime control, economics, law, justice, politics and the media.

Center leaders recorded an episode for the Duke Law Podcast regarding the Supreme Court's most recent Second Amendment case, United States v. Rahimi, that was decided in June 2024. Center faculty director Joseph Blocher also recorded an explainer video regarding the decision.

In fall 2023, Center leaders presented at two virtual events on the state of the Second Amendment and firearms law following the Bruen decision.
