“TOWN OF ILWACO, WASHINGTON
Ordinance No. 130
An Ordinance entitled, 'An Ordinance governing and regulating Concerts and other saloons, Pool or Billiards rooms, and the sale, giving away or disposal of fermented liquors or the sale, giving away, or disposal [of] cigars, cigarettes,[1] cigarette[2] papers or wrappers, or tobacco in any form, or the sale of fire-arms to minors, etc.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ILWACO:
Section 1.---Every person who shall admit or to allow to remain in any public[3] pool or billiard hall or room… or…
...Section 4.--- Shall sell or give, or permit to be sold or given to any person under the age of eighteen years, any fire-arms, gun, revolver pistol or toy pistol; or,
Section 5.---Shall sell or give any intoxicating liquor, to any intoxicated person, or any person previously xxxxxxxx convicted of having been drunk and disorderly within[4] three years in the Police Court of the Town of Ilwaco, or any person[5] adjudged to be a common drunkard; therein, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty five dollars nor more than One Hundred dollars, and in addition thereto committed and confined in the Town Jail, not less than 10 days, nor more than 30 days as adjudged by the Police Court of said Town. It shall be no defense[6] to a prosecution for a violation of this section, that the person acted, or was believed by the defendant to act, as agent or representative of another.”
